Jeff at LA Home Appraisal was able to complete a full appraisal of my partially burned house in Pacific Palisades, when others were unsure. He found comparable home sales (few though they are) to support his conclusion, and even told me that I could use the cost of repairs to reduce the post-fire value --- something my CPA never mentioned!
